First ‘Proper’ Match

The first league match of the season for both the 1sts and 2’nds. Falmouth won their first league match for a year beating newly promoted Tavistock 18-12. The 2’s who won their league last year went down to a last minute try at Lankelly-Fowey but secured two losing bonus points.

Mrs S and I started the day with breakfast at the Pier Cafe before I headed up to the rugby club to carry out some staff training before we opened.

The sun shone, a small crowd turned up and we were entertained by a team that will have gained some confidence from their efforts today.
An afternoon with friends with a few beers before heading home for a Chinese curry courtesy of Mrs S, it’s been a long two days with the promise of a tough morning tomorrow to look forward to.
