Kentish Jam

So Aged P and I set out in the sunshine and are heading for Sevenoaks when we hit a humungus traffic jam. So we turn 'round and go back to Dunton Greenn and grab a sandwich and a coffee in Bojangles which was uber friendly and according to the locals does fantastic cakes. Next time.

So we drive off again and there is another mega traffic jam going back towards Orpington, so we go off somewhere else and there is another jam cause by a tree that has fallen across the road. SO we go back through Shoreham but its the village fete so the whole place is log jammed and some of the locals are acting as traffic marshalls to sort out the mess ...

So we stop in Halstead and have cream teas in Cabbages and Kings which is lovely and does the kind of jam you want rather than the traffic variety; and I buy TSM a scarf and we head off home.

So a better day, Aged P enjoyed the sun and the food although this blip is very distorted and she has what seems to be a huge right hand and a rather Frankensteinian look to her...

TSM and I went shopping when got home. She loves her scarf. Barbecue and Pims tonight...
