Well, it would be hypocritcal for the King to care very much about all the mute swans in his realm if he spends August up at Balmoral immorally shooting the bejeezus out of all the grouse up there. So it's nice to have that one cleared up.
I think that means that the good people of Bedford can dine on local mute swans for their Xmas dinners with impunity whereas the people of Henley may not.
