White hot Labor Day

The lake was a-shimmer today.  We saw kayakers, a paddle boarder, turtles and a few tiny fish swimming near us.

It was too hot to stay out for very long, but we had a wonderful ride listening to music and reading.  Hard to believe this summer is wrapping up, but we've made the most of it for sure!!

We have two more trips scheduled for this month, too, so no rest yet!
