Small Tortoiseshell

Lots of things fluttering about the garden but this Small Tortie didn't seem phased by my presence and was there most of the afternoon.

Mr Robin likes his new bird feeder.  He comes to chat before he has a feed.  They are such sociable wee birds!

There was also another (or the same one a it was in the same place) ruby tailed wasp flying along the wall of my house, same as the last time.  Too flighty to get a non-blurry photo!

Cut the grass tonight and I was surprised I wasn't stung by a wasp.  There were hunners!!!  And I am sure they were attacking the lawnmower...  I don't recall seeing so many in the garden before...

I was too tired to go and get more bags of stones - tomorrow.  Maybe...
