Rock

A wee wander round Wadebridge then we walked the Camel trail, 10k to Padstow. Lots of pink shorted yacht shoe wearing tourists but that didn’t detract from the charm. We restaurant spotted Rick Stein’s,1,2 ,3 places plus a rather nice shop. N had his desired Cornish pasty and Cornish ice cream and then we popped onto the tiny ferry, £3, and hopped over to Rock.

Been itching to garden so after a wee bit of date and walnut and a cuppa tea in the garden, I got my bucket and trowel and I was off. Therapeutic gutting someone’s garden and they have such different weeds down here to mine. Easier to get out as shallow rooted, an awful lot of chickweed.
Roast chicken for tea in their brand new kitchen. Feels like home already.
