last holiday day

We spent a day in Upper Mill, wandering along the canal to get ice cream. It was a scorching day! Poor old Zeke was stung by something and was in pain for about 45 minutes. As soon as he calmed down, another critter stung him twice on the face! I felt so sad for him.

Evie B is on the brink of senior school. We’re all a little nervy this evening.

Gratefuls:

1. Ice cream;
2. Sunshine;
3. Lying in bed with Eve as she hopefully falls asleep…. finally.
