Magnolia Bud

Another sign of Spring with our Magnolia tree starting to bud up.

We had super food last night at our friends place. It will be a home cooked meal tonight before going to listen to our local Candidates standing for the general election that is being held next month. We have the MMP (Mixed Member Proportional) system, so we get 2 votes- one for the party and one for the local electorate candidate - they can be in different parties. So we usually end up with coalition governments. Interesting times ahead !
