Watching and waiting

Woke up with a bad headache this morning so decided to go out for a walk earlyish! The weather was cloudy, windy and cold, went out of the door in a fleece and came back for my coat instead! Took quite a few shots, one of which I have put on blipfolio/flowers in case anyone can tell me what it is, have looked in my book but no luck. This shot of a male mallard thought I had something for him to eat! Sadly only 1 duckling left in the pond. Also took some shots of the moorhen youngsters, now nearly as large as mum! Headache went by lunchtime and the sun came out so did some gardening. C. at work so went and had tea with a friend later.
