My drive to Galway in the middle of the day was a big mistake! 27c for most of it, it did reach 28 at one point.  I have no air-con so it was very uncomfortable for me and Mowgli. 
Galway traffic was painful at the end of that.  
However, dinner outside at 7:30 pm and a walk to a thronged Blackrock in short sleeves until 10pm was glorious.  The excitement was palpable, warm evening, high tide on a school night, lovely to feel the buzz. Most people left when it got dark but we stayed on chatting, still in short sleeves, and it stayed so warm. One extra 
Today was a big day for Dr Kate,  she got married, I wished I was there.
