Bramble Sunday

We all went picking brambles from the golf course this afternoon in order to make a crumble for dinner. There were also some apples from the tree next to the school. This is the second year this ritual has been undertaken and now it has a designated name. Bramble Sunday is to take place on the first Sunday in September...

It was also the beginning of a new heatwave. So warm that we had to have a barbecue, so we also enjoyed the crumble out in the garden.
