Fifty seven feet long and eighteen feet wide
This stone is set in a small piece of land by Whitfield Street very close to where I work. It is the same place as I blipped the mural (Fitzrovia mural. Today this small space was full of people enjoying the sunshine and sitting around eating their sandwiches.
According to the inscription, they have Robert and Esther Proctor to thank for this small space 'for the use of the public forever'. It is still much appreciated by office workers in London.
