Europe by Van Day 1

It was a busy morning loading the van. Mr C also had to supervise the water board people who were back to tar the bit of road by the mains stopcock to make sure they left it accessible. Mr C managed to turn off the water there before we left.

It was very hot at home - so glad we can aircon in the van. Long may it last.

We got to the ferry early and settled in to the minute cabin - it’s the cheapest one with no window. We have brought a picnic for tonight as we don’t want to be eating in a crowded restaurant.

The Blip is from the top deck Sky Bar where we have placed our chairs overlooking a large cruise ship. It’s so nice to be sitting in the sun even if its only a DFDS ferry and not a swanky cruise ship. We might indulge in a G&T when we sail.

I’m posting this from the Tyne as I’ll have to be careful with data once in EU. I may not be able to look at Blips much as I’m no longer with BT which last year got me free roaming in Europe.
