The easier way.

We set off on our walk in Formby at about 9.30 am, and walked through the woods and  then along one of the paths parallel to the beach and dunes.
It was fairly quiet and was starting to really warm up when we reached the boardwalk down to the beach.
Walking along the beach northwards was very pleasant with a very light breeze to cool things down.
By the time we returned to the car it was 11.30 and the car park was being closed as there were no more spaces available.
I imagine the alternative parking would soon be full too.
There seemed to be quite a lot of children about, I thought all the schools would be back now after the holidays; unless there are more concrete problems than have been reported.
As I write this the shade temperature is 33.8 C. So glad we went early.
