‘Oh, What a Beautiful Morning!’

What a gorgeous morning it was today!

Windless - and when I was out for my run at 7.30, the last remnants of the lingering mist had cleared to reveal bright sunshine.

The shadows, however, are lengthening, and by the end of the month, the sun (which had been up for just over an hour) will only just have risen. This process continues so that -up here - by the day before the clocks go back, the sun doesn't rise until after 8,- then jumps back an hour for a retreat that lasts only three weeks or so.

So I was making the most of it!

(Several others were, too - I particularly liked the guy with his bike in the extra, surveying the city, gradually waking up!)
