Bexhill-on-Sea (Sunday 3rd September 2023)

I was at a civil partnership in Arundel on Saturday between the son of my brother (Spotlight Kid) and his longterm girlfriend. I spent the night afterwards with friends in Bexhill who used to live in Battle. Using Buzz was a mistake as needing to charge the car several times proved an overwhelming challenge which I never ever want to repeat (ever). Should a future need arise I will use Archie, which I'm very glad not to have sold yet. Buzz performed well, though.

Sunday morning was a very pleasant walk through Egerton Park down to the seafront at the West Promenade, and an alfresco brunch at the Light Sovereign Café (I've since learned this was also the subject of a song by Keane, who come from Battle, and filmed the video on the Promenade). These pebbles were right by the sea. The first extra shows a detail of some groynes nearby.
