A taste of Bulgaria

Tonight I made shopska salad with new potatoes and a crumbed chicken breast. It was delicious and I am still stuffed a few hours later. I’ve packed the leftovers to have for lunch tomorrow.

I have a GP appointment in the morning so get a bit of a lie in. Always good. The GP appointment not so good. Has to be a face to face one unfortunately because it involves a blood test.

Work today was busy. I started the day with a ridiculously long to do list and actually managed to get most of it done. I will do a bit of work in the morning from home as well to keep on top of it because I have a lot to get done before the end of the week.

The teenager is at her dads tonight so the house is quiet. The dog is grumpy in the corner where it’s cooler. The cats are enjoying the shade in the garden and I’m watching the invictus documentary on Netflix. Might get up in a minute to make a cup of tea.
