Hollandse Nieuwe

A dutch title this time.
From the moment the first new herring of the season is brought in, this new catch is sold as "Hollandse Nieuwe" or translated litterally: "Dutch new", which is quite a strange expression in english ;)

Ofcourse this is eaten raw, with unions, exactly like this gentleman is showing.

I had my first 2 of this season a few moments later :)

This cat-gathering was my 2nd choice of today.
