(249) Falkland Palace

We made use of our NTS membership today to go and sit in the gardens at Falkland Palace, in yet more glorious sunshine. Having made an early start we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the gardens and leave before it became busier. The first two extra shots are views from the gardens. 
In the afternoon I got out for some bike miles and stopped in Kirkcaldy town centre to have look at the the remains of what used to be the Post Office building and, more recently, 'Kitty's' nightclub. The building has been empty and up for sale for some time but I'd imagine its future is now uncertain after a fire broke out yesterday. The fire damage looks extensive and I've no idea if the facade will be able to be retained. The third extra shows the charred remains of the building.
