Quick on the scene

A bit of excitement while I was shopping this morning. Country Grocer was busy as usual. Suddenly the fire alarm went off, everyone looked puzzled, but the staff kept working and shoppers kept shopping. It wasn't a fire drill and when they couldn't figure out how to turn the alarm off and didn't know what was happening, the staff told us to leave our carts and clear the building. The fire engine arrived quickly, and staff and customers gathered in groups outside for about 20 minutes while the fireman investigated. No sign of any fire, so the all clear signal was given and shopping resumed. I'm sure there will be article in the local paper tomorrow and maybe I'll find out what happened. Thank goodness there wasn't a fire.
