Kayaking at Fell Foot

Been a busy day today. This morning I successfully completed the Grasmere Gallop fun run 5.7 km trail race. I finished in the middle of the field and I'm not ashamed to have been beaten by some 6 year olds!!!

Then we went to Fell Foot for a birthday party. The children had a chance to kayak for the first time. This is my daughter having a go. I went out with my son as he was too nervous to go on his own!

I had forgotten how much fun it is though running kit not ideal for canoeing in!
