A Long Day
I canned applesauce this morning. Although we now have enough to get through the winter, it really didn’t make a dent in the amount of apples waiting to be processed. I might be forced to make another pie! Then I made a confit of slow-roasted cherry tomatoes and garlic, another tribute to the overflowing garden. To round it all off, we made pizza for dinner. As if that weren’t enough, there was a very long and somewhat confusing doctor’s appointment stuffed in there. I’m still trying to process all the information. So, off to bed with visions of apples dancing in my head…
