Another fantastic day. 
We started our exploring at Rydal Water and walked up to Rydal caves - a new one for us. It was great up there and the cave was huge. Stepping stones to get to the back were a tad challenging but well worth it. Walked back along the shore of Rydal Water.
Then drove over the Kirkstone Pass to Ullswater and parked up the hills near Aira Force and picnicked under a tree with an incredible mountain view. Drove up to Pooley Bridge and stopped for a cuppa overlooking the river.
Then drove back and stopped at Brothers Water for a walk along the shore line. (extra).
