Ibis Happy Place

Having trouble getting motivated with all this free time ; ).  

Eventually took Toto down to a lovely lake where we haven't been for so long.  Nor have I taken him in the car for a long time so he was super excited and about halfway there he started to realise where we were going - clever boy and it was even more exciting then!!  : )

We had a fine time and there were a lot of ibis eveywhere in all the trees, many more than the last time we were here and they are all nesting at the moment.  Lots of little black cormorants hang around with them too ; )
In extras is a funny gathering thing they do in a group which I call a Hootenanny ; ) because they all honk and hoot together!!  
I have no idea why they do it but it looks like fun lol!!  
Also some fluffy ibis babies in the next shot and a longer shot of another little patch of heaven with a nice big wattle tree in bloom behind! : )

It was a very nice change of pace and strange to be out at that time of the day!  I have to try and get over being institutionalized!!! : )
