Between Claddaghduff and Cushatrough ..

I'm looking out over this little bay, from our nook amongst the dunes of a beach in Connemara. Inishbofin is out there somewhere. 

The sky is grey, and the wind is rising - just the right weather for this landscape. The journey down from Sligo took us through some dramatic mountain scenery. The roads are much better than the equivalents in the Highlands of Scotland.
