Dorchester Abbey
This morning I went to visit the abbey at Dorchester-on-Thames to see the Medieval and Victorian stained glass windows. My blip shows the Chancel with its Great East Window which was restored in the 19th century and contains Medieval glass from other windows around the abbey as well as a Victorian Rose Window by William Butterfield. To the left is the 13th century 'Tree of Jesse' window which combines sculpture and stained glass.
