A scorcher

Foggy morning dog walk but still warm.  Quite comfortable in sleeveless top.  Mist and cloud lasted until late morning and then the heat really set in.  Blip taken about 11am on my way home from town. 

Noticed huge planks of wood on the ground next door.  The entire roof structure has been removed!  The builder asked hubby, G did he know of a fire in the roof.  G said was it near the chimney but the builder wasn't certain but thought possible.  Apparently new building regulations require thicker wood for roofs.  A bit strange as attached next door to construction recently had loft conversion and retained their roof.  Just glad we're not attached.

It's been a scorcher today.  Heading outside a blanket of warm air hits but it's blissfully cool indoors.  Reminds me of alighting from an air conditioned aeroplane onto a Greek runway in high summer.  Just no sea swim to look forward to.

Even too hot to walk Kyro this evening.  He slows down just going into the back garden and doesn't muster energy to bark at the squirrels. We'll both need puffs of cold water during the night.
