This will be the 3rd day in a row that I’ve eaten all my meals outdoors - favourite spot is on the retirement seat behind the garage with - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2612397346452933970 - the birds tend to keep me company at breakfast but are very quiet during the day, probably too hot for them :-(

Gardening jobs: started pulling up the alpine strawberries they’ve sent runners everywhere and are smothering the ground. Cut back some of the large outer leaves of the Inula, the flowers have put on a great show as usual and the seed heads will stay there all winter to feed the birds.
