On the Hunt

This female green anole was definitely on the hunt. She stalked tiny flying things that were trying to hide under leaves, behind cement blocks and on patio furniture. I took photos as she worked and noticed that her skin color was constantly changing according to the colors in her environment. Check the *extra...less green on the block She looked really hungry and I felt a bit sorry for her, so I offered her a few tiny morsels of sliced turkey. She ignored my offering, "thanks, but no". I'm sure the dogs gobbled it up later.
