62 Turbines with a capacity of 143 Megawatts which would power about 73000 homes.
Of course it helps if you have a window seat on the right side of the plane as we flew down to the South Island (in the background). NZ electricity is largely from green sources with hydro being the biggie but Wind Farms are also springing up in the right places too.
