Chasing the shade

After feeling like we’d overdone it a bit in the heat yesterday today we stayed close to base. Just a wander along the river and later a wander to the local bar.

We followed this cormorant for some distance trying to catch a shot each time it popped up from fishing. The ripples it made were often all we caught.
