Sandstorm?

We had rain last night, bringing a shower of sand from the Sahara so all vehicles in town are covered in spots like this, our bonnet while parked in Dolgellau. I wonder if this fits an Abstract Thursday challenge? I leave it for Ingeborg, our host, to judge. We then drove up to Bettws y Coed, which was going like a fair and not the quiet Welsh village I remembered, so we wandered round the shops, had a cream tea and left for Bala.

Extra photo is Winifred, an engine on the Bala line, arriving at Llanuwchllyn Station from her last trip of the day. We watched her being readied for bed and were privileged to be allowed to enter the engine shed to see the four other engines - George B, Alice, Maid Marian and Holy War.
