Gladiolus

I planted quite a few gladioli bulbs earlier in the year but only one has come up. 

Todays has been even quieter than yesterday - I woke up in the middle of the night with a very sore throat and took a strepsil. It felt slightly better when I woke up but I decided to have a rest day. 

I spent part of today getting ready for next week's  "start of term"  - printing out notes,  thinking about a study schedule, filling in and returning forms and doing the first listening exercise.  

The next semester will be the equivalent of Higher level and whilst I will have encountered much of the grammar it does feel like it will be a step up and possibly require more effort.  I shall soon find out !
