This was my last day at work before a week off. I ended up working pretty late to tie up a lot of loose ends and to write a comprehensive (and comprehendible) handover note. 

I’ve been in two minds about taking this particular week off and what to do with it. Normally I would want to travel but there hasn’t been one destination I felt more strongly about than a couple of others. Also, I was a bit concerned about the work that would wait for my return. I thought about it for a good long while and decided that I wanted a week off; the weather was predicted to be good so no need to seek it elsewhere; and writing the handover note helped my own organisation and made me confident that I could step away for a week.
