It was a treat spotting this black-capped chickadee resting momentarily on this spent poppy stem • It was another busy day at the feeders. The birds didn’t seem to mind the heat one bit. It hit 90F with a feels like temperature of 95F. I wonder if this is summer’s last hurrah? • Despite the heat I made a vegan banana-blueberry bread, a new recipe.
