Waiting to Mash

S is the spud masher around here but cried off this evening and settled on a spud/dahl mix instead. Good decision.
I spent a very pleasant morning on the golf course, from which you can gather that I played half-decent, and a slightly less pleasant afternoon trying to find last minute B&Bs for our guest Hannserl. Managed to get a couple of rooms sorted, just not in the towns he was planning to visit first on his 4-day train trip. Anyway, he’s off to Inverness in the morning then onward to Mallaig the next day (Saturday buses on Skye permitting). I’ve got my fingers crossed that the weather after tomorrow won’t be as bad as forecast!
