Devil's Backbone

Time for a little trip off the mountain....and past a rock formation called the Devil's Backbone.

The name seems right to me: this sinister spine of rocks rises right up off the an otherwise nondescript ridge. Might there be an evil face attached somewhere down the line? Hmmmm....

I hope to go back early one morning to catch this formation at sunrise, when the orange light will make the rocks look even spookier.
