Castlerigg Stone Circle

Another sunny day for sightseeing in the lakes. Stopped for a short walk at Thirlmere and then went to Castelrigg. It’s years since we have been here and it’s certainly impressive. Spent the afternoon in the house and grounds of Mirehouse (on the shore of Bassenthwaite. Really interesting. Stopped at Wyrhburn church in the way back. Had a lovely meal in the grounds of the Badger Bar.
