This morning we drove over the Newlands pass to Buttermere and walked round the lake. The clouds stayed with us all day but it was so hot and humid. I love Buttermere and all of the mountains surrounding.
We then went into Cockermouth for some late lunch then drove round to a lovely cafe near Keswick - The Lingholm Kitchen - for leisurely coffee and cake. It’s a beautiful place that we found by accident a few years ago.
