Criccieth
THURSDAY
The September heatwave continued with hazy skies and temperatures around 28ºC for most of the day. Overnight rain and a few brief showers brought down lots of Saharan dust which covered the car.
We drove over to Criccieth late morning and arrived just in time for lunch. A look around the castle and a walk on the promenade. The sea looked very inviting: people were sunbathing, swimming and paddle boarding.
We drove home through Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and over the Denbigh Moors.
I carefully washed my car this evening and did some more repairs to the rendering on the retaining wall to the back garden. Also a visit from Neil in the Ocado Plum van.
