Arriving in Portsmouth….

…….Thursday evening, when I took the photo.
A bit later than expected as the Brittany Ferry, the “Normandie” was late leaving Portsmouth earlier in the day to sail to Caen, due to a security issue, probably to do with the prisoner who had escaped from Wandsworth Jail in London earlier! (Well that’s what we think!).
How on earth he escaped is being talked about in the media.
We arrived here late around 11.00pm after a long queue at Passport Control. We also had had our car searched and bags scanned at Customs in Ouistreham (Caen) earlier before boarding the ferry.
