a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations.


It was a good friend of mines birthday today who passed away some years ago.  I promised her I would have a glass of wine on her birthday every year.  I normally don't put it out there but as I said, feeling nostalgic today.  A lot is happening lately and I'm thinking about simpler times.
