Hazy walk

I got out around 9.30 this morning for a walk, as there was a lot of cloud around.  The sun came through weakly at times but was still hot!  It still remains quite cloudy and hazy now, but is humid.

In the photo is one of a few big old oak trees in our village.  In one of the side roads they have curved the road around one of them.  And this would have been in the days when tree preservation was not really a thing.

My Tesco delivery for Sunday afternoon has also been cancelled.  Apparently they are having to actually replace all the fridges and freezers in the Chichester store.  Deliveries begin again on Monday.  I have already booked one for Wednesday, so we will go and do another in-person shop to top us up until then.
