I Need A Name......

One of 3 I finished today - the other 2 are over here along with a couple of lidded things..
This one put up a bit of a fight (must be his character) and by the time I was doing some hand finishing I had to get out of the garage and do it outside where it was much cooler.

The bad news was I had just cut a big chunk of wood on ethe bandsaw and as it was slowing down it made a funny noise ...... the blade had snapped. I had cleaned it and checked it all a couple of days ago so it shouldn't have been anything inside the housing. It turned out the weld had come apart. So that is a new blade now ordered.

At lunchtime I looked out the window and thought "Where the hell has the rain come from?" ...... the slates edge of the pond were soaked. It tuns out that the flock of Sparrows and Tits which had been foraging out the back had moved to the front and been drinking and bathing. I have never seen them mange to throw so much water out of the pond.
