Despite the farm shop's inviting sign, this wilting Jack Russell seemingly fell victim to the heat. We made it however, for a welcome sorbet stop. 
30° centigrade was still showing, so we did a shorter bike ride than yesterday, and tried to avoid doing battle with close contours.
1st extra: Singing cows - "Don't stand under the apple tree, with anyone else but me". Civilised shade seeking.
2nd extra: A rather handsome Lanchester.
