Paws

Car down to the garage first thing for MOT and shock absorber replacement. Took the dogs so that was their morning walk done. A phone call we could have done without. Then seemed to alternate between processing last night’s photos, getting a room ready for B&B arriving later and for some mad reason also putting together a canopy to go above the back door in the vain hope it might actually prolong the life of the door which has been replaced far too many times since we’ve been here (small print indicates strong winds could be problematic!). Not up yet as need a bit of help to get it in place in a way that may increase the odds of it surviving it’s first gale.

Guests arrived - really lovely women from Utrecht. They could be my last ever so good to go out with an enjoyable experience. Photos nearly all processed (will be back blipping at some point), now need to edit and get them to where they need to be. Car collected, unfortunately only the MOT got done, they ran out of time. Have said they will fit it in Tuesday. Really hope so as off to Glasgow Wednesday, hospital stuff and really need to not break down on the way there or more importantly on the way back, so a bit close to the wire. Oh and apparently the man is finally coming to put some cement on the hole dug for the broken pipe on Monday. Forecast suggests it will likely be raining so can see that going well.
