Collards

I've never known them growing up, but fell in love with them from first bite. The Southern way calls for cooking them to death in biggish chunks, usually with bacon. My preferred way is Brazilian: you stack the leaves, roll them tight, slice them really thinly, and stir-fry them in olive oil with chopped garlic. Brill!!!
