Woody Thursday (7th September 2023)

Refna made it over here on her bike before the heat got up too much, and my Woodland Garden is one of the coolest outdoor places to be. There were new bedding plants and crocus bulbs to be dealt with as well as two rattan hanging baskets I bought in the sales.

Sadly it was almost the last time that she will be here as she is packing up to move to Watford shortly.

Rolling Stones - Angry (2023)
With Keith Richards now 79 and Mick Jagger 80, this is an impressively robust single with some major riffs from their forthcoming new album, their first of new material since 2005, and the first without Charlie Watts (he plays on two tracks recorded in 2022). It was released on 6 September. Try not to look at the video, which is wrong on any number of levels, and doesn't show us what they look like now.
