Cold Front!
From one extreme to another! From a heat wave to a cold front..from swimming to shivering. The morning temperature here was 10C! Brrr.
My brother's friend Terry along with his dog Winston were departing for the next stage of their vacation this morning, so I tagged along on the boat ride to town to do some errands with my brother and to visit his friend Linda.
It was a cloudy, grey and very cold day...which meant digging out some warm clothes and jackets for the first time in weeks! The only hint of sun that we saw all day was back at the cottage at sunset (main) and the only bit of blue sky? At the marina in town.
At dusk, I happened to be out front at the almost, but not quite, right time to photograph our resident beaver swimming by. Again, it was low light, and he was not quite close enough; on top of that, he is a fast swimmer and dives down regularly to swim underwater, so he is a challenge to photograph at the best of times! But.. I decided to post a photo of him anyway, despite its lack of focus...(extra)
Life is too short to be fussy; every now and then, we need to settle for "good enough", right?
