First light

Low cloud over a basin in the middle distance, held in by the mountain range and backlit just before sunrise – an unusual late summer combination. The other side of the mountains is a downward slope towards the coastline spanning – on a day with good visibility – from Elche via Alicante and San Juan towards El Campello and Benidorm.
